Being Thankful

It’s almost summertime!  I’m sure most of us are happy to see the warmer temperatures heat up the Flathead Valley.  Kids are excited to finish the school year and let their eager young minds take a well-deserved vacation from all the stress that school brings. Teachers, we know that you definitely are worthy of the best summer ever, and if you haven’t heard 100 times already how much we appreciate you…..we really do!! J The green grass and blue skies are a welcome reprieve from the long cold winter that is swiftly fading away and will soon be a distant memory. With the nicer weather upon us, we realize how grateful we are for the changing of the seasons. When you take the time to stop and think about your life, we can find so many reasons to be thankful. No matter how great or small, being grateful for the things we are blessed with will ultimately make us happier.

One of the many things that I am grateful for is having had opportunity to be the proud owner of our family dog, Duke. Duke was a part of our family since rescuing him from the Humane Society in South Carolina nearly ten years ago.  Duke was a loyal, loving, and protective companion. Unfortunately for us, Duke grew old and it came time for him to leave this life. In February, we said our tearful goodbyes as he transitioned into the next life. Although saying goodbye was extremely difficult for our family, we are forever grateful to have had the honor of being a part of this magnificent creature’s life.

Another reason that I am so thankful is for my wife and son.  Having a family that loves and supports me through good times and bad times is invaluable to me. I love all our adventures, and trips to Glacier Park, where we go hiking, have a bonfire, and grill cheeseburgers and hot dogs at Apgar campground while watching the sunset.  Watching the latest blockbuster movie on the weekend and eating popcorn will always be something I treasure.

Being a chiropractor and having the opportunity to serve my community is another reason that I am grateful. In my office, I have the opportunity to see miracles every day! I get to watch firsthand how God works through me to help the sick and afflicted get well. I am privileged to see those people who have lost their health, and hope, come to my office and learn about the amazing innate power that God put in every man, woman, and child’s body, that can help them overcome any ailment.

Here at Life Family Chiropractic, we believe that the power that made the body, can also heal the body! Your body is so much more powerful than anyone has led you to believe.  Through specific, scientific, chiropractic adjustments, your innate, the inborn wisdom of your body is able to go to work and maximize your health! That is why every man woman and child should get regular spinal checkups from your chiropractor. Only chiropractors are trained to locate, analyze and correct vertebral subluxations.
